Couples therapy can help you to explore how you impact each other and how your differences affect your relationship, and your relationships to your children and family. Your previous experiences with close connections are often activated in a relationship. These experiences affect how you think, feel and act in the present. This can create conflicts, and sometimes it can be difficult to find constructive solutions and work through them.
In therapy we will work with clear communication and respect for each other’s boundaries, and we will find a common ground for individual needs, feelings, goals and interests. You will gain a greater knowledge of your actions and therefore have a greater chance of changing them.
